Owner: Alice Wilcox Since the early 70's Alice has been following a course direction which has invariably led to and culminated in her most current venture, Texxtures By Wilcoxx. Alice's credentials include several top level management positions such as opening and managing 4 Philadelphia, Main Line and Delaware county salons for Talent Hair Salons, Education Director for Talent Hair Salons,and President of L'image Cosmetics. Alice's advanced education includes advanced academies such as, John Dellaria in Boston, Paul Mitchell in New York, Jingles in London, Vidal Sasson in California, Pamela Taylor Makeup academy in New York, Premier Cosmetics/ Skin Care Academy in California, Hylunia Skin Care Institute in Exton,and various advanced hair coloring institutes, including Wella, Clairol, and L'oreal. Alice, along with Bob her husband, have received "The Masters of the Craft Award" for professional excellence. Alice, along with Texxtures talented photo shoot team, have had numerous photo's published nationally and internationally, giving them exposure and igniting their creative spark to bring the most progressive and fashion forward trends to their clients! But Alice's most persistent pursuit is educating new stylists and helping them realize their dreams in an ever changing and evolving industry. An industry that allows us to touch people in ways they rarely experience today, with caring, love and compassion. Owner: Bob Wilcox Bob started out training as a craftsman in another field but gravitated towards photography and other artistic pursuits. Finally he found the rewarding and exciting beauty industry. Bob has been a force in the industry for over 20 years. He has had extensive training in cutting and styling, taking part in the advanced schooling offered by industry leaders such as John Dellaria, Jingles and Sasson. Although Bob excels in cutting, his true bent has been haircoloring. He has studied extensively with Clairol in an academy setting, and has attended numerous group studies with top innovators, artists and purists in the color field including: Leland Hirsch, Beth Minardi, Louis Liccari, Richard Cardone, et al. He has attained expert knowledge in the uses and limitations of all the most highly recognized haircoloring lines. He constantly seeks inspiration from the myriad publications and periodicals available to both the professional and consumer. Bob excels in color correction and receives high marks from his colleagues regarding his talent and expertise. Bob was a co-recepient (along with Alice Wilcox) of the prestigious "Masters of the Craft" award, presented by the Art and Fashion Group International. Bob's personal goal is to constantly upgrade his abilities according to the ever changing dictates of the industry.
